HomeWelcome to Mare's site!Aug 19, 2007
Hi! So this is my site. Just so you know, most of my stuff is private so even though you can see some of my stuff here, all the good stuff is for those I know and love who add me as a contact-- If you want to see pictures, video etc, become my contact on here and it will let you in. Sorry its private, but there are a lot of weirdo's out there! Here's to family and friends!

OK- so here's a bit about me. I was born and raised In Logan, UT. I love Cache Valley and always thought I would marry a local boy and stay there forever. I guess I got my local boy, but we are now in Kansas. I have learned that life never goes as planned. .. it goes better than planned!

I married Jason Walker, from Hyde Park, UT. We attended the same high school, but didn't know each other until after he was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, at age 19, and served a 2 year mission in Brazil. Here's a funny story- when Jason decided to serve a mission he thought it would be wise to take voice lessons to learn some hymns and how to lead music. He and I both took lessons from the same instructor, but we still didn't meet. His class was back to back with my sisters. One day, my sister came home and said, "I met the guy you're going to marry." She then went on to tell me his story and how cute he was. "You have to wait for him to come home from his mission, though." So, just to recap, Jason and I took voice from the same instructor, lived one block away from each other at one point,I went to school with his sister, my friend had a crush on his brother, I knew some of his friends and we still had never met. I guess it just goes to show the importance of timing. The Lord knew we both needed to be ready before we could meet. I am so glad someone else was looking out for me!

Our mutual friend, Adam Hansen, set us up when Jason returned home and the rest is history. Thanks Adam!

Jason and I married September 1st, 2001, and now have 3 gorgeous girls. Lila (2003) Keziah (2005), and Neve (2007). Life took us to Texarkana, TX and then Fort Leavenworth KS, where Jason works for the Department of Defense as an accountant. I feel so blessed to have Jason as my partner in this life and the next, and those 3 girls are the icing on the cake!

I hope this site will help us to keep in touch with our friends and family across the country and share our lives with those we love.

Hi there! We are doing well! Miss you guys like crazy! It's kinda weird not to have any family in Logan anymore, but it is soooooooo good to be back! I'm excited to start school at a REAL school instead of a podunk place! How are you guys! I love looking at all the pics and videos you post! It is nice seeing you and the girls even if it's not in person. I'll have to be better about posting pics and stuff! Love you all and hope you are having fun with all your adventures!

Hi! It's been a long time :) I can't believe you have three kids!!!!!! That is so great. I also have three. We put a four and a half year break in between Milena and Samuel. In that time I took care of my niece, who is just older than Acea and her Mother, my Sister-in-law (who was dying of Huntingtons Disease) in my parents home. My brother remarried after her passing and then we had Sam. Anyway we are doing great! It is so nice to reconnect with you!

Oh yeah I almost forgot, wer'e trying to do this thing where we move to Oregon for 9 months and then come back and that would be sometime next year that we would go. That would be so sad if you moved here and we were living in Oregon! But it might not happen, we don't know much about it yet, but we'll find out in few months I think.

i'm still trying to figure this out, like when I was on my firefox browser and I was trying to leave you a comment, it was typing it backwards! It's was so crazy! Anyways, I would love it if you moved here!!! It would be so fun! We have friends here but no one we really get together as a family with. Besides I miss hanging out with you! Oh geez, don't get my hopes up! Do you know which city Jason would work in if you moved here? That would be so cool if you moved to Maricopa!
